Keto cheese sauce

Add to vegetables or as a topping

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2.0 oz Cream Cheese
  • 0.25 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped) Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2.0 tbsp Butter, unsalted
  • 1.0 tsp Oregano, ground
  • 1.0 tsp Sage, ground
  • 1.0 tbsp Rosemary

Instructions:

  1. Place the cream and butter into a small sauce pan and gently heat up. Grate the cheddar cheese and keep aside. Once heated, add the cream cheese into the sauce pan. Stir until melted and bring to a simmer. Once you see bubbles, take off the heat. Stir until melted and bring to a simmer. Once you see bubbles, take off the heat. Add chopped fresh herbs Serve over steamed vegetables, fish and meat! If you can't use the whole recipe, only make one serving. The sauce should be eaten immediately or kept at room temperature before serving. Once refrigerated and reheated, the butter separates and the cheese clumps which you want to avoid. Serving Size: 4 .25 cup servings
